Power Up Communities Action Team update for March 2025

In response to the new political realities of the Trump administration, Third Act Central has changed the title of the Democratizing Energy Team to Power Up Communities Team to reflect a broadened scope of topics and projects.

The Power Up Community Team will focus on several topics including solar legislation and stopping new fossil gas generation plants and pipelines.

We will work with utility regulators, state legislatures, and regional grid operators in support of the clean energy transition. In addition, the TAO Power Up Community Team will continue our work assisting TAO members in the electrification of their vehicles and residential appliances.
