Third Row Crawfish Boil
Third Row has now hosted five annual crawfish boils to date starting in April of 2002. The 2006 boil on March 18th saw continued success in attendance, crawfish, and beer! Despite the higher price of crawfish this year, we still managed to boil 600 pounds for around 140 people. Four kegs of beer were once again consumed and the drinking games reached a new level with many rounds of the belevod game Flip Cup. Thanks again to Travis and Eusebio for cooking all of them along with the sausage, corn, potatoes, mushrooms and other assorted goodies that were so delicious! Thanks also go to John Starr and Denelle Walker for helping with the tickets and setup, Matt Mediamolle for handling the beer, Paul and Courtney Holbrook as well as Brent Broussard for letting us borrow pots and for helping out a lot, Dana Ducote for coming in from Houston and bringing a fantastic cake again, Mark Higgins for sponsoring keg number four, James Lawson, Paul Holbrook, Eric Ducote, and Jay Ducote for all the help setting up and cleaning up, and finally Jere Ducote for his generosity in allowing us to use his house and for enjoying the party with us this year! The Fifth Annual Third Row Crawfish Boil was a huge success, and we can't wait for the sixth one in March of 2007! The tradition is to hold the crawfish boil on the Saturday afternoon of the St. Patrick's Day parade in Baton Rouge, and boil #6 will be no different, so now you can't claim you don't know when it will be!

Also, full pictures from the last three crawfish boils can be found in the Events page of the Pictures section...

Thanks to Travis Ducote for preparing the picture collage!
